OK - Lets talk a little about scripting in RTCW then. Basically it's the same as in CS, even though the "language" is a little different (as far as I can see). You write your scripts into *.cfg fils and the you call the file from autoexec.cfg using "exec ?????.cfg" just like in CS.
There's no need for a buy script as such, since money isn't involved, but a script for choosing team and class is very handy. I'm sure there are a lot of fine scripts out there but so far the "Super-Player-Selector" and "Super-Team-Selector" from www.cowboyscripts.org are the ones I'm using. They are not GREAT, but pretty good and quite helpful.
There's a "Name Animation Tutorial page" at that site as well, but animating your name is only fun for a short while and it REALLY eats up bandwidth very fast, so it lags your game a LOT. What actually happens is that you change your name 30-40 times with 1/4 seconds intervals! I dont use it.
I've not started scripting my self yet, but it'll come ...

But the idea sounds great, dependable on how much CPU load such a server will require, we must limit the player numbers as well as the problems we have with the CS. Specially caused by all that anticheat shit.
Investigate those issues then we will see. I will raise a vote if the interest hold.
Maybe we could start with GoTChas Server.

So far I don't go for specific servers, but choose the ones with acceptable ping and lots of players (18-24)

But i don't have the game yet , to populare , but i can store IP adresses for common use

OH? I thought I answered that one! But the answer is, as I wrote earlier in this forum, that I'm not yet playing specific servers, but just going for low pings and many players. I usually end up on danish, swedish, norwegian or english servers.
