For nogen er der problemer med at se friends i Steam her er en mulig løsning jeg quoter:
Question
My Friends list isn't working properly, or I can't add someone to my Friends list after I deleted him. Also useful if you can't delete someone or your friends list is just acting weird.
Answer
Friends is still undergoing improvement, so if you are unable to connect to the Friends network this might mean that the Friends Server is unavailable at that moment.
If the Steam network is having problems, you may not be able to log into the Friends Server.
If you have never been able to connect to friends then you might have a firewall problem. This might be a program running on your computer or it might be in your router if it has a firewall.
Both Port 27007 UDP and port 1200 UDP must be open in order for Steam to be able to access the Friends network.
If your configuration software requires the port numbers, use the following:
UDP 1200 UDP 27000 to 27015 inclusive TCP 27015 to 27039 inclusive
For help on port forwarding for your Router, please consult this excellent website: http://www.portforward.com.
For assistance with your Firewall you will need to go to the support site for your particular Firewall. Windows XP SP1 firewall does not require any specific configuration changes for Steam to work.
If you can log into friends but your friends list won't remember names or you can't add or delete friends or if it is just acting weird, then you need to delete a file to fix these problems.
First exit from Steam, and then delete the file named:
userdata_#######.vdf
where "####### is your Friends account number.
You might have several of these files, there is one for each Steam Account that is installed on that computer.
This file will be located in one of two locations:
C:Program FilesSteamconfig or C:ValveSteamconfig
When you start Steam again, all of your friends will be automatically added back into your list.
It's a good idea to back up the file before you delete it just in case you realize later that you made a mistake. |
